The Nigerian Defence Academy (NDA) has announced that the application form for the 77th Regular Course is now open. Interested candidates can apply online from Wednesday, November 6th, 2024, until the deadline of April 30th, 2025. This opportunity is available to both male and female Nigerians who meet the eligibility criteria.

NDA Admission Form 2025

The NDA admission form for the 77th Regular Course costs N7,000. It is available for purchase through the NDA application portal at www.ndaapplications.net. To start the process, applicants need to create an account on the portal, generate an Order ID, and obtain a Remita Retrieval Reference (RRR) code for payment. Payments can be made online or at any Nigerian bank, but only payments tied to RRR codes generated via the portal will be accepted.

Applications for admission to the Nigerian Defence Academy, Kaduna, for the 77th Regular Course are currently open. The application form will be on sale from Wednesday, November 6, 2024, to April 30, 2025.

NDA 77th Regular Course Admission Requirements

To qualify for the NDA admission process, candidates must meet the following criteria:

  1. Personal and Academic Requirements
    • Must be a single Nigerian citizen with no legal obligations to dependents.
    • Must be 17–21 years old at the time of application.
    • A minimum of five (5) credits in GCE, SSCE (WAEC, NECO, NABTEB, or NBAIS) obtained in no more than two sittings, including Mathematics, English Language, and three relevant subjects.
    • Must have selected NDA as the first choice institution during JAMB registration and meet the JAMB cutoff marks:
      • 180 for Arts, Social Sciences, and Science courses.
      • 210 for Engineering courses.
  2. Physical and Character Standards
    • Minimum height of 1.68 meters for males and 1.65 meters for females.
    • Must be of good moral character and physically and medically fit.
    • Knowledge of French, Arabic, or Mandarin is an added advantage.
  3. Documentation
    • Present a Certificate of Indigeneity from the state or local government of origin.
    • Candidates awaiting results or with examination results older than five years are ineligible.

How to Apply for NDA Admission Application Form 77RC

Follow these steps to apply for the NDA 77th Regular Course:

  1. Create an Account: Visit www.ndaapplications.net, and create an account. You’ll receive login details and instructions on how to proceed.
  2. Purchase the NDA Form: Generate an RRR code on the portal, then pay the N7,000 fee online or at a Nigerian bank of your choice.
  3. Complete the Application: Log in to your account, fill in the required details, and upload scanned copies of your credentials including your SSCE results. Ensure all documents are submitted before the deadline.
  4. Acknowledgment Form: After submitting your application, download the Acknowledgment Form, which will be required during the screening process.

NDA Screening Test Date and Requirements

The screening test is the first phase of the Post-UTME exercise. Only candidates who meet the eligibility requirements and score above the specified JAMB cutoff marks will be allowed to participate. The following documents must be brought to the test center:

  • Acknowledgment Form
  • Screening Test Admission Card
  • JAMB Result Slip
  • Two passport-sized photographs (3.5 x 5 inches) labeled with the candidate’s name, course, state, exam center, number, and signature on the back.

Candidates who pass the screening test will be invited to the Armed Forces Selection Board (AFSB) for further assessments. Those who complete this final phase will be admitted to the Nigerian Defence Academy for military and academic training.
